A Unicorn Kinda Day

Unicorns are the best. Especially for this birthday girl.

Today's post will be about a small Unicorn themed garden party which took place in a small pretty garden. A unicorn theme means pink, blue, purple, orange, and all the bright colors in the world. Well, I managed to use some of them which was quite a lot. 

The Dining Spot

In this garden party, the birthday girl and her guests will be having cakes and lunch al fresco. So the first thing I did was setting up the dining spot. I built a makeshift table from wooden panels with wooden support for the tassel garland overhead. The rainbow tassels overhead added pretty colors to the already pretty sky (although not so much these days with the pollution 😕). 

The Table Setting

For the table setting, more colors were in order. Pink and orange for the seating arrangements, green with polka dots plates and cups, pink flowers, and bright colored paper balls.

Next I set up a tee pee (because girls love to play house) and a makeshift cake serving table for the cake and desserts. And in the far corner, I set up a picnic spot for those who just want to lie under the trees and the sun.

The Unicorn Pinata

And to complete the decor, and added fun, a unicorn pinata must be invited! A pinata full of small candy and other surprises would be a wonderful booster for a party.
