Black & White Wedding

Did you know that dreamesh {handmade} DECOR has been decorating for weddings? I have decorated a few weddings in the past (starting from Andhara Early’s in 2011), but I must say that this Black and White Wedding for Nuy and Simon is one of my fave.  It was a paper galore wedding – absolutely my kind of wedding!

I got to express myself in several places at the venue: wedding aisle, music area, and photo gallery. Yes I played a lot with frames and white birdcages in different sizes, but what I love most is the black and white paper fans in gigantic sizes. I also made my own black and white anemone flowers from crepe paper and placed them into cans that I painted using chalkboard paint, which then I wrote the bride and groom’s initial over it with chalk. These little details go along way, and so I am happy that t…

Painters Party!

I definitely declare that this is one of the favorite projects dreamesh {handmade} DECOR has ever done! When Nasta came to me and asked for an artsy party for her little artist, Philoshopia, I knew I had to make something ‘out of the box’. And after some time contemplating, I figured out this backdrop for her dessert table.

And boy, I was lucky! A client from another project gave me empty powdered milk cans, so I painted them white and then dripped them with the color paints I wanted – I went with pastel colors. Then I hung paintbrushes for every color and substituted paint strokes with long pieces of tulle fabric in the pastel color pallet. I am so happy with how it came out. Perfect, at least in my opinion. And I was happier that the client thought so too!

                                                    I love these happy faces!

Then to top things off, the yummy bites from @alinaratih couldn’t have been more cuter!

Last month, my work on Bravacasa Indonesia magazine came out!

It was for the May-June 2015 edition where I designed a teen study room with the theme being an Astonomer. Do grab a copy to get a closer look of how I made the decorations for this ‘out of space’ themed room and how to lift up your interior ambience. Here are some up-close pictures... Oh, and watch out for the cute alien!

Female Daily’s Birthday Bash!

I was thrilled to be part of the Female Daily Network party this year! They turned 8 and threw a surprise party for their employees. This meant fun, food, and décor by dreamesh, of course ;) I put up a photobooth made from red, fuschia, and gold colored pom-poms, decorated their dessert table with balloon wall and yummies from @shopdelicakes. You can go see their goodies here.

The party very much reminds us to LIVE, LAUGH, and wear a little LIPSTICK! Happy birthday again, Female Daily Network… am glad to celebrate all the fun with you!
