Hundreds of ethnic and linguistic groups with diverse cultures and customs, brought together in one country, as a nation, with one national language.

This year, we celebrated with Yuara's class. We organized our Independence Day celebration with races and contests for the kids. The kids ended up with flour all over them and smile on their faces.

I also landed on an Independence Day project. I got to work together in this Dreamesh x Dana collaboration, constructing an Independence Day display for their head office. 

Aside from all the festive activities that differ every year, there is one constant wish for the country which I've come to love. I wish freedom for Indonesia, always. Freedom to be our own nation with all its glory. So our people could flourish and always set root in the country where they are born, for generations to come.

Remember who we are.
