A Padangnese Bachelorette Party

Time for a little throwback..

One time, I was asked to decorate for a bachelorette party.

The theme was Padangnese. I was really amused and by the looks of it, so was the bride-to-be.

So I prepared the decor for Padangnese traditional celebration which includes combinations of traditional Padangnese songket and tapestry.

A little Padangnese throne for the bride-to-be.

The guests would eat cross-legged on the floor, so I prepared small tables from upturned brass buckets with additional tapestry and matching beanbags for added comfort.

And also, check out the food 😍

This was a fun bachelorette and I was so happy to be a part of it.
